Five pursuits, one way of paying attention
I’ve spent most of my life learning things that reward patience. A raga takes years before it sounds like yours. A cube takes thousands of solves before your hands stop thinking. A troop takes trust before it follows you anywhere. Research takes failed attempts before a result. And a Vedic verse takes repetition until it settles in you.
Music, scouting, cubing, academics, and Vedam are not five separate lives — they’re five ways I practice the same discipline: showing up, listening carefully, and finishing what I start.
